The best Coffee comes from?

Where does the best Coffee come from.  No not a jar.  I asked this from a Brazilian sales assistant, is that wrong?  He told me Africa,... Africa???  not knowing much about coffee I said 'Don't say Africa, coz you think I want to hear that'  'No !' he insisted it was Africa.   I asked my daughter she also said Africa something about Kenyan Coffee.  I had coffee once and it was so good I had to ask where it was from.  I was told 'Portugal' Portuguese Coffee, so since then I like to enquiry when I go to small coffee shops and ask where their coffee is from.

I guess Starbucks Coffee is from America somewhere, hey what do you know they don't really say. It is Organic Coffee and it seems to be from Africa well the pictures probably could of been anywhere but they speak of supporting communities.

Being an Italian owned Coffee Shop.  I thought they would of been so on about Italian coffee. Although I saw great deal in Asda 2 250g bagsfor £5.00  that's great coz that's mean I can 1 kg for £10.00 saving over £3.00 hey I am a business woman already.  you gotta think like that when you are running your own business.  Like when my little girl kept drinking a can of fizzy drink each day she was there.  That's like £2.10 no sales that's works out to £1.20 loss   of earnins/profit.  She did make some fairy cakes sold about 10 made about £3.00 which I kind of put in the till, well she didn't ask for it back.  Is that wrong?

Coffee Machine 1 Me 0

That's what I tried to do today.  It was like the ogre in the corner that someone invited to a really cool party.  Anyhow Espresso 1 me 0.  Yes today complete and total humiliation,  just when I thought things were going well bubbles frothing nice temperature I was finally in control.  I was the master, then the manager came over to..... ok I am going to go with help. Then thats when it happened I suddenly got confused with ... where my hand was?  well where my each of my hands were my right hand was turning the coffee drippy part of machine off and my left hand I think was holding the jug just under the spout, all going well I was thinking yes all I have to do is turn it off when it gets near the top.  Hmm thats a good idea or maybe I should just watch it overflow see how far it goes.

Well bubbles milk everywhere, down machine on floor, everywhere.  The customer just stood by patiently as we cleaned up and got it right the second time.  What happened I haver no idea.  I think I was lost in the moment the fact that I was finally getting it right.

it was kinda funny.

Tomorrow is another day .

I love my Espresso maker

I will master the hi-tech very large coffee machine. strike that it is espresso, I think at the moment I am having  a love hate relationship with it.  I hate it and it hates me.  It isn't as easy at it looks.  It takes coordination and multi tasking.  Also being good with your hands helps.  getting the froth on a cappuccino is a work of bloody art.  I will master it.  ok just ran spell checker over espresso, cappuccino and coordination.  maybe this is an omen.  (I should quit while I am ahead)

I keep thinking of slogans to go with the new business, which I haven't decided to take on as yet.  Gotta be able to make a cup of coffee with out swearing.....

Possibilties of owning a Coffee shop

Things happen in a very strange way.  I recently returned back to my local home after approximately 10 months in Essex well it turns out the TOWIE The only way Isn't Essex.  I am settling back down, messing with my neighbours heads, waving to them all nonchalant like I haven't been away for such a long time.

Some ways it seems like forever other ways nothing has changed.

So semi-retired Italian couple up the road are thinking of selling there Coffee shop.  I didn't realise it was a Coffee shop.  I have listened to all the terrible stories of woe in regards to the business.  I had advised her many occasions to just sell it.  She always looked so exhausted and sad.  It seemed to be more problems then it was worth.

Until my other neighbour approaches me about going into business her with half the  rent.  It doesn't seem like a crazy idea, other than I am considering moving back to Essex, after all my daughters school is in Essex.  I have experienced driving 18 miles every day to get to school on time for nearly 3 weeks what can I say it isn't easy.

So what happens next, I am doing my research the person who appeared to be such an integral person in the business turns out his not a reliable as I first thought.  keeping options open.  I think I can run it single handled it is coffee after all, how difficult can it be
