Do you want fries with that?

Just another day, travelled for just over an hour opened up Shack then put the oven on, not the grill plate.  This is no flipping burger joint, I don't care what the punters want.  Must work on customer service skills.  No I am really nice about it,  I have this pained expression, they get the message and normally concede to have something else.
I mean with all this lovely Italian food? how could you want a burger? it makes no sense to me! I've got lasagne, stuffed peppers, pizza, chicken escalopes (which I have nailed) it's time consuming but it is worth it.  on Wednesday that's World Food Day.  Yes I made that up another one of my initiatives, that and special Meal Deal when you buy a canned drink with a meal.  It doesn't matter what I done because by the first week in November it all ended with a crash.  Well it is more of an agonising pain in my leg, my right leg I had had what was first diagnosed as a hamstring injury.  I had to take a week off I proposed this to my lovely Italian retired neighbour who  went ballistic.  There was a lot of shouting something  about me ruining the business.  The only thing I had ruined was my health.  Do you know how long it takes to recover a S1 nerve damage.  3-18 months so that's what happened to the Coffee shop.  That was the end of that.  Oh yes still got chocolates, fizzy drinks and coffee 

it's complicated

why do things that should be straight forward, end up being so complicated.  firstly I am not the first person to take the shack over  I am like the 4th, don't ask then I wont have to go into the details.  I am the best, no I am not being conceited, that's what I have been told by customers and management , yes that the truth.  anyhow I love it and no you can't see the books. which books ? how about a complimentary cup cake. That's it that's all I've got to keep them coming back.
